Aim and Scope
Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal that aims to publish leading edge researches on any possible topic in informatics, technology, and other related areas, both from theoretical and empirical perspectives.
Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT) was founded in 2017. JIT published the first online and print issue in August, 2018 using ISSN: 2586-8136 (online) and 2630-094X (print). JIT has 2 issues/year (January-June and July-December). Since 2020, JIT decided to publish all manuscripts only online version. There is absolutely no charge for the authors/visitors for all the processes of submitting, reviewing, publishing, accessing and downloading the articles with/from the JIT journal.

Types of Manuscripts
The JIT journal welcomes submissions in three academic formats:
- Research article
- Review article
- Academic article
Peer Review Process
Double-Blind Peer Review
The articles must be original and never be published in any other websites or other journals before. The articles which are considered as “plagiarism” articles are strongly prohibited to be published in the JIT journal.
Authors are required to include their names and affiliations in their manuscripts, whereas reviewers are not visible to authors. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to peer-review by at least three independent reviewers. Peer reviews are done by a double-blind review method where the identity of the reviewers and the authors are not disclosed to either party.
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

Open Access Policy
JIT journal is open access journal since 2018 which means that all contents is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. All articles published by journal of applied informatics and technology (JIT) are made immediately available worldwide under an open access policy.
- everyone has free access to the manuscript of all articles published in JIT journals.
- everyone is free to use the published material if proper citation of the original publication is given.

จุดมุ่งหมาย (Aim)
วารสารวิทยาการสารสนเทศและเทคโนโลยีประยุกต์ (JIT) เป็นวารสารที่ทุกบทความที่จะเผยแพร่ในวารสารจะต้องพิจารณาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (Peer-reviewed) และเป็นวารสารที่เป็นแหล่งเผยแพร่บทความที่มีนโยบายแหล่งสารสนเทศแบบเสรี (Open-access) โดยมีเงื่อนไขคือผู้แต่งและผู้อ่านไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใด ๆ ในการเผยแพร่บทความและอ่านบทความ โดยวารสารมีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะเผยแพร่บทความวิจัย บทความปริทัศน์ และบทความวิชาการที่อยู่ในขอบเขตของวิทยาการสารสนเทศ เทคโนโลยี และหัวข้ออื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยเปิดรับทั้งบทความที่มุ่งเน้นทางด้านทฤษฎี และการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยี
วารสารวิทยาการสารสนเทศและเทคโนโลยีประยุกต์ ทำการเผยแพร่บทความวิจัยจำนวน 2 ฉบับต่อปี(issues/year) ในเดือนมกราคม – มิถุนายน และกรกฎาคม – ธันวาคม โดยเป็นการแผยแพร่ทางออนไลน์ หมายเลข ISSN: 2586-8136 (online) และ 2630-094X (print) ทั้งนี้ตั้งแต่ปี 2563 ทางวารสาร JIT ได้เผยแพร่บทความเฉพาะ ออนไลน์ เท่านั้น สำหรับการเผยแพร่บทความในวารสาร กองบรรณาธิการวารสารไม่มีนโยบายเรียกเก็บค่าธรรมเนียมการเผยแพร่บทความ ดังนั้น ผู้แต่งไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายใด ๆ ทั้งสิ้น

บทความที่นำมาเผยแพร่ในวารสาร JIT จะต้องไม่เคยเผยแพร่ในเว็บไซต์ การประชุมวิชาการ หรือวารสารอื่นใดมาก่อน บทความที่ “คัดลอกผลงาน” จากบทความอื่นจะไม่ถูกตีพิมพ์ลงในวารสาร JIT
วารสาร JIT ใช้วิธีการพิจารณาบทความแบบ double-blind review โดยผู้แต่งจะต้องพิมพ์ชื่อและสถาบัน (Author name and affiliation) ลงในบทความที่จะจัดส่งด้วย แต่ทั้งนี้กรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (Reviewer) จะไม่สามารถมองเห็นข้อมูลของผู้แต่ง การพิจารณาบทความจะพิจารณาโดยกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวนอย่างน้อย 3 ท่าน เพื่อตรวจสอบความถูกต้อง (Accuracy) ความใหม่ (Novelty) และความสำคัญ (Importance) ของงานวิจัย
เมื่อได้รับผลการพิจารณาจากกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จะเข้าสู่ขั้นตอนการพิจารณาจากบรรณาธิการ (Editor-in-Chief) โดยผลการพิจารณาประกอบด้วย ผ่านการพิจารณา (Acceptance) ขอให้ปรับแก้ไขบทความตามข้อเสนอแนะ (Revision) และปฏิเสธการเผยแพร่บทความ (Rejection)

นโยบายแหล่งสารสนเทศแบบเสรี (Open Access Policy)
ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2561 วารสาร JIT กำหนดให้เป็นวารสารประเทศ open-access ดังนั้น ทุกบทความสามารถเข้าถึงได้โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ทุกคนสามารถที่จะอ่านบทความ ดาวน์โหลด คัดลอก แจกจ่าย พิมพ์ ค้นหา หรือลิงก์ไปยังบทความ หรือใช้ด้วยวัตถุประสงค์อื่นที่ชอบด้วยกฎหมาย โดยไม่ต้องขออนุญาตจากคณะวิทยาการสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม (publisher) หรือผู้แต่ง (author)
ทุกบทความที่เผยแพร่ในวารสารวิทยาการสารสนเทศ (JIT) สามารถเข้าถึงได้เว็บไซต์ของวารสาร JIT ผ่านระบบ ThaiJO ได้ทันทีภายใต้นโยบายของ open access
- ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงทุกบทความที่เผยแพร่โดยวารสาร JIT โดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย
- ทุกคนสามารถใช้เนื้อหาของบทความที่เผยแพร่ ทั้งนี้ ต้องอ้างอิง (citation) ถึงบทความต้นฉบับ
